The special feature of our technology is the transmission of live video from anywhere in the world to everywhere else in the world with the help of the Mobile Video Platform. In contrast to traditional mobile providers, who assume at least one UMTS network, avinotec transmits a real 15 pictures per second on GSM, with only 64 kbit/s.
In addition, with a stronger mobile signal it is possible to scale the picture dimension and area and to stream at screen resolutions QVGA (320*240), VGA (640*480) and up to studio quality D1.
avinotec offers user-specific invoicing and accounting for streams and downloads.
In the case of radio network gaps in the mobile network we resume the transmission in the appropriate place - either in the billing, or viewing the video file.
No software installation is required; the mobile phone only needs to be able to log on to web pages and to play videos. Only if interactivity is required – perhaps video chat - a small player in Java ME format is downloaded and installed.
avinotec has developed its own MPEG-4 and AVC-codec (similarly to that of a mail service), which can deliver a stream to any video-capable terminal without recognising that terminal.

manufacturers and interoperability between them. Our system functions with
all mobile phones, on all mobile networks.
